I created the logo for Word Up DC, an organization that helps young people both in and out of the judicial system learn web communication skills. 

In 2007 I saw a news story on CNN about a 17-year-old boy who started a non-profit to send sustainable stoves to refugee camps in Darfur. The organization, Stoves for Darfur, was quite successful and helped thousands of women escape the danger of foraging for firewood outside the safety of the camps by giving them fuel-efficient cookware. Impressed by the impact the high-schooler had on these people, I connected with Spencer Brodsky, the organization creator, and redesigned their logo.
